Sellwood Community House Engages Cogeo to Support Fundraising and Development Initiative

Portland, OR — Cogeo is excited to announce its partnership with Sellwood Community House (SCH) to support its fundraising and development work.

Sellwood Community House (SCH) is a 501(c)(3) organization that was founded in 2019 after Portland Parks and Recreation ceased operation of the building. SCH offers a wide variety of programs, activities, events, and community engagement for the Sellwood-Moreland area and beyond. Its mission is to create a home away from home for the community where all ages and stages are welcome. SCH continues the century-long tradition of service to its community, offering education, recreation, classes, camps, drop-in activities, rental spaces, community events, and more.

Cogeo is thrilled to be working with SCH and supporting its motivated team in establishing an annual development campaign and providing strategic guidance to advance the organization’s programmatic needs. This partnership reflects Cogeo's commitment to supporting organizations that make a positive impact in their communities.

"We commend the entire SCH team for its decision and commitment to expanding its development (fundraising) capacity," said Patrick Sampson, CEO of Cogeo. “The organization is at a pivotal moment in its growth trajectory, and the decision to partner with Cogeo is just another example of the organization’s deep commitment to the Sellwood community for years to come."
