Cogeo Partners with South Bay Parkland Conservancy to Advance Conservation Efforts

Redondo Beach, CA — COGEO is thrilled to announce its partnership with the South Bay Parkland Conservancy (SBPC), an organization dedicated to the restoration, preservation, and public use of coastal land resources in the South Bay Region of California.

SBPC is committed to preserving open space and creating more parks in the coastal cities of the South Bay in Los Angeles, CA. The organization is a vital player in safeguarding natural spaces and enhancing community access to these invaluable environments, focusing on projects such as Wilderness Park, Esplanade Bluffs, the Hermosa Greenbelt, Redondo Beach Community Garden, the AES Dunes and Wetlands, Pollinator Gardens, and Alondra Park Island. Through their ongoing efforts, SBPC fosters a deeper connection between residents and the natural beauty of the South Bay.

This collaboration with COGEO will focus on strengthening the South Bay Parkland Conservancy's financial sustainability through a comprehensive development campaign. COGEO will provide strategic guidance and support across all phases of the campaign, including optimizing fundraising strategies, enhancing donor engagement, developing outreach materials, as well as guiding database management. The partnership will build a robust foundation for SBPC's ongoing preservation and restoration efforts, enabling the group to expand its impact and secure the future of the South Bay's precious natural landscapes for future generations.

Of the partnership, Patrick Sampson, CEO at COGEO, states, “SBPC is at a critical juncture - one that well-managed organizations inevitably face. It’s the transition from an all-volunteer organization to hiring its first paid staff positions and, accordingly, professionalization of their internal operations. COGEO is honored to be their chosen guide in this important moment, both for organizational development and professional fundraising. We couldn’t be more excited to expand the incredible work they do into an even more supported operation, ensuring their mission continues on for generations.”
